The GEMAC MOTUS® sensor family is the first generation of power IMUs for mobile power machinery. They provide a revolutionary, highly configurable sensor measurement unit for precise 6-axis motion tracking. These innovative sensors have been specifically developed for mobile machinery such as construction equipment, cranes, agricultural and forestry machinery, and ships.
At the heart of the GEMAC MOTUS® family is a proprietary sensor fusion algorithm that performs highly accurate orientation calculations using a specially optimized enhanced Kalman filter. The intelligent filtering systematically suppresses external accelerations and interference, ensuring stable and reliable measurement results even under extreme operating conditions.
